Dave is Telligent’s Organisational Development Partner, bringing more than 25 years’ experience across organisational development, HR, talent, transformation and continuous improvement.
His career includes senior and specialist roles with Eli Lilly, Telefónica, Trend Micro and BioMarin, where his work has spanned organisational transformation, leadership and management capability, talent and succession, change management, employee engagement and process improvement.
During almost 13 years with Eli Lilly, Dave progressed from Business Analyst to HR Business Partner and ultimately Lean Six Sigma/Organisation Development Black Belt. His work included organisational design, transformation, capability building, succession planning, management development and major change initiatives across manufacturing and shared-services environments.
He subsequently led continuous improvement within Telefónica’s European People Services Centre, before becoming Head of HR for Trend Micro’s EMEA Operations Centre/Ireland and Interim Southern Europe, partnering with senior leadership on talent strategy and organisational transformation. He later served as Interim HR Leader with BioMarin during a period of significant site expansion and as Director of Talent & Transformation at Fastnet.
In 2018, Dave founded Conexion.ie, through which he has worked with organisations across sectors, with particular experience in biopharma and related engineering businesses. His consulting work focuses on connecting culture, strategy and people, supporting organisations across organisational development, talent management, leadership, HR and internal communications.
Through Conexion.ie, Dave’s work has included organisations such as Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Induchem, VelocityEHS and SCRI-IS, among others. Engagements have ranged from defining vision, mission, purpose and values, through to people strategy, talent management, leadership development, organisational development, employee engagement, succession and ongoing senior HR support.
Alongside his consulting work, Dave spent almost a decade as an occasional lecturer with University College Cork, delivering modules across Managing People, Talent Management, Leadership Development and HR, including programmes delivered in conjunction with Pfizer.
At Telligent, Dave works alongside client leadership and internal People/HR teams to connect where the business is going with the leadership, management, talent and organisational capability required to get there.
As part of Telligent’s Leadership & People offering, Dave leads and supports work across Organisational Readiness, Manager & Supervisor Capability, and Talent & Succession, with findings able to feed into Telligent’s wider workforce development, learning, technology and transformation capabilities.
